Dear Residents,

This Notice is to provide an update on the upcoming street paving project and to remind everyone to use extra caution while work is underway.
Battery Lane is scheduled for paving or resurfacing during the weeks of July 27 through August 14, 2026. The project is scheduled to pave and resurface Battery Lane from the intersection Franklin Road and Harding to Soper Avenue.

• Currently No paving work will occur on weekends.
• The utility castings will be removed and raised during the week of July 27
• Milling of the old pavement will begin July 29, 2026

Safety Reminder: As paving begins, you will see large paving equipment, dump trucks, and support vehicles moving slowly and frequently entering/exiting the work zone.

For everyone’s safety, we ask that residents:
• Slow down when driving through or near work areas.
• Use caution when passing paving vehicles—they may stop, back up, or turn unexpectedly.
• Watch for workers and traffic control signs at all times.

These steps help protect both residents and paving crews and keep the project moving smoothly.
