Payment assistance is available — here’s what you need to know

Dear NES Customer,

We understand that many families are facing tough financial times. Since January 28, NES eased Nashvillians’ financial burdens by waiving late fees and pausing disconnection for nonpayment. Thousands of our neighbors used these recovery measures and as we transition back to our standard policies in July, we will continue to work directly with any customer who reaches out.

If your NES account is past due, please contact us. Payment extensions and assistance programs are available now. We encourage you to stay current with your payments to prevent a large balance from building up.

Our goal is to help you stay on track and keep your electric service, because disconnecting power is always our last resort.

Get Help With Your Bill Today

NES offers flexible payment extensions that let you spread an unpaid balance over time. Call or visit us to set one up:

·       By phone: 615-736-6900, Monday-Friday 6 a.m. to midnight; Saturday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

·       In person: Customer Lobby, 1214 Church Street, Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Community assistance programs may also be able to pay part of your bill if you qualify. Some programs operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so applying early matters. Find programs near you at www.neshelps.com

Lower Your Bills Going Forward

NES partners with TVA EnergyRight to offer rebates and resources that reduce what you pay each month:
