City Honors Joe Thompson at BOC Meeting

At the June Board of Commissioners (BOC) meeting, Joe Thompson was honored for a lifetime of achievements. To accept on his behalf was his wife Martha. To read more about Tiger Joe, see City news article, "Oak Hill’s Joe Thompson Receives France’s Highest Honor Before His Recent Death."

 Thompson is survived by his wife, Martha, son Joe III, daughters Fonde Wertz, Mindy Orman and Celeste Crouch, their spouses and numerous grandchildren.
