Detour Information for Battery Lane
The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) in partnership with Metro Nashville Public Works began work on Battery Lane replacing the bridge over the west fork of Brown’s Creek. This bridge is located in the vicinity of Robin Springs Road.
Starting today running through July 27th, there will be a temporary closure of Battery Lane to relocate utility lines. Those traveling through this area should expect detours.
This fall, the relocation of utility lines under the bridge will be done with no impact to traffic during this phase.
Next summer, the bridge will be replaced. Detours will be required during this phase. This closure will not begin until the end of the 2012-2013 school year in order to reduce the impact to motorists in the area. Battery Lane is expected to reopen by August 2013.
